Throughout University, Stefanie received invaluable tuition from Berklee College Of Music and Harvard graduate Maureen McMullan. Maureen, who has since worked for Warner/Chappell music in Nashville Tennessee, taught Stefanie using the principles of the Estill Voice Training (EVT)
method. This method of deconstructing how the voice and it’s mechanism work, remains the technique that Stefanie uses to teach today.
Stefanie has been privately tutoring a variety of individuals of all ages and abilities across a range of genres for the past two years. Using voice quality training, she specialises in vocal technique,
diaphragmatic breathing, projection, improvisation and vocal hygiene as well as performance skills and vocal recording technique.
In addition, Stefanie uses technology to benefit the student where possible, using Apple products to record and aid the students in their learning.
Stefanie is currently employed by Strathclyde University as one of the vocal tutors for the prestigious Applied Music Course.
Stefanie also teaches in the Glasgow Music Studios as a vocal tutor and most recently, vocal and songwriting specialist as part of Creative Scotland's 2012 Rock Project.
